Privacy Policy
Toast & Trivia is operated by Canal Ventures LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit toastandtrivia.com or order a game, why, and how we delete it.
What we collect
- Order details from Etsy or Gumroad: your name, email, order number and what you bought. We don't receive your full card number.
- Order form answers you send through our order form: stories, names, inside jokes, quotes and photos about the guests of honor and other people at your event. Please share only what those people would be happy to hear read aloud, and never addresses, phone numbers, financial or medical details.
- Messages you send us by email or Etsy messages.
This website itself doesn't ask for personal information and uses no tracking cookies or analytics. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first.
Why we use it
Only to make, deliver, revise and support your order, answer your questions, and keep the basic records the law requires for tax and accounting. We don't use your order form answers or photos in our marketing unless you give us separate written permission. See Photo & content terms.
Who processes it for us
We use these service providers, only to run your order:
- Etsy and Gumroad (orders and payments)
- Tally (our order form and photo uploads)
- Our email providers (order and support email)
- AI-assisted writing and design tools, which help draft questions and lay out slides from your answers
- Cloud file storage used to build and deliver your game
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We delete your photos and order details from our working files and backups within 30 days after delivery, and from our form and email providers within 60 days. Email hello@toastandtrivia.com to request deletion sooner. We keep basic order records (name, email, order number, amount) as long as tax and accounting rules require; those records contain no photos or stories.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, email hello@toastandtrivia.com. We'll respond promptly. If you received a business email from us, reply "unsubscribe" and we'll stop.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track visitors across other websites, so it treats every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
Our games are bought by adults. Information about anyone under 18 should be shared only with a parent's or guardian's OK.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted on our home page.
